The renovation of the Virginia War Memorial Carillon is a top-down affair, from the 240’ high dome to the on-grade hardscape. Restoration and repair of the masonry and limestone tower exterior, the replacement of roofs at the various levels, and the complete reworking of the terrace level are all elements of the scope of work. Lastly, the Bells have been refurbished, the structure that supports them updated and the machinery that operates them has been replaced.
