The Park at Rivercity Sportsplex

The Park at River City Sportsplex is an eight-acre destination designed to inspire play, exploration, and connection. Highlights include a 2,000-square-foot spray park with interactive water features, a destination playground, a dedicated game area for tweens and teens, an accessible climbing structure, and a network of walking and exercise trails.

Organized into three distinct zones tailored to different ages and abilities, the park thoughtfully blends recreation with the natural landscape, drawing inspiration from the James River ecosystem. Additional amenities include outdoor fitness areas, picnic spaces, shade structures, and convenient on-site parking.

The Park at River City Sportsplex is anticipated to open in summer 2026.
