The transformation of the old Atlantic Motorcar facility into modern day offices is consistent with sustainability efforts by many owners. The unusually shaped structure at the corner of Hermitage and Broad Streets in Richmond now houses an architectural firm, a regional agency, and a local construction firm. The original service bay door and vehicle path became a two-story office. Waterless urinals and skylights were just some of the green initiatives employed. The original brick façade was cleaned to a fresh look of new masonry for this $3 million renovation.
